Booknowledge is an independent project by an author who self-publishes stories and guides inspired by his own life. It grew out of a desire to turn those experiences into something to share: books that engage, move and leave something with their readers.

One person: the author. He writes and runs the entire project himself. Booknowledge is a personal commitment he deeply believes in, from the first idea to his relationship with readers.

The author has chosen to remain anonymous. His personal identity stays private, while some of his experiences find their way into his books. It is through those pages that he wants readers to get to know him.

From the author’s real life: experiences, emotions and reflections reworked and organised into stories and guides. Lived experience is the starting point; writing gives it a form shaped for the reader.

The books draw on real experiences, but should not be read as a faithful account of the author’s life. That material is reorganised and reworked to serve the story or guide.

I simply write about whatever I feel like writing about.

The author hopes to create intense reads that move people and stay in their memory. The ambition is for a book to become something to return to, recommend or feel belongs to you: almost a small personal cult favourite. This desire guides the writing; the meaning of each reading ultimately belongs to the reader.

For its readers’ satisfaction. That is why Booknowledge exists: to offer books that make the time spent in their pages meaningful. The project begins with a personal voice, but finds its purpose in meeting its readers.

Knowing that a reader, after buying and reading one book, comes back to choose a second. That return is a sign of trust: the first book left something behind and sparked a desire to continue. For the author, that is the greatest achievement.
